FAQ - Staffing

Why?

The whole point of this staffing page is to make it easy to replace your underperforming staff.  I got tired of dealing with lame staff because the agent didn’t want to go through the process of hiring and training, again.  To be a top performing agency, you will absolutely go through lots of staff.  Let me make it easier for you!

How does this work?

If they are on the site, it’s because I believe they will be good at this job – or I can train them to be good at this job!

You should watch the videos to see who you think would “vibe” with you and your staff.  Everyone wants the same person – Allstate Exp, Hungry, Reliable, Spanish, etc..  I have found that you never really know until you put them to work.  I want to make it easy for you to hire, and easy for you to fire.  30 day guarantee from their first day!  If you don’t like them for any reason, you’ll get a credit for another hire.

Download their resume and call them!  They are expecting you to!  If you like them either hire them on the spot and put them through background OR set up an interview.  Either way, let me know immediately so I can take them off the site so other agents to compete with you!  

Once they are entered in the background, you must pay for them!

What’s the Onboarding Like?

Step 1 – Enter in Background, Have them apply (Sircon) for Non-Resident License if applicable.  I tell them they need to pay for the license and you will reimburse them after 90 days/Probation.

Step 2 – Ship Computer – You may never see that again.  I can help with cheaper options.

Step 3 – The can start as soon as they get the computer doing Telemarketing.  If you hire from my site, the Telemarketing Videos are included.

Recommendations:  

Day 1 – Immediately have them compete the TM Videos (3-4 Hours).  After lunch, show them your phone system and lead system and have them telemarketing the rest of the day.  1 call per minute is the goal – 3 hours should be 180 calls.

Day 2 – 8 Hours of telemarketing.  You’ll know after 2 days if they are trainable and if they came to work!

Day 3 – Quote sheets for Auto only.  See how they are with Telemarketing for themselves and how they interact with clients – are they worthy of investing in Binding Authority, Sales Training, etc..

What are the Guarantees?

I’m just like you, I can’t guarantee who’s going to be good either.  LOL.  People lie, people suck, people be lazy!  They may not work out.  If they don’t work out for any reason, you’ll receive a credit for another hire.

How are Candidates Already Chosen Before I Even Had a Chance to See Them?

The agent that sponsors the ad (pays for it), will get first right of refusal.  This usually costs $250-$350.  You can sponsor an ad also if you’d like first pick!  The “leftovers” will be added to the site for everyone to see.

W2 vs. 1099

If you hire in a state you haven’t worked with, you may consider starting them as a 1099 while on probation and then moving to a W2 once you know they’re going to work out.  You may have to Incorporate and/or get an FEIN and/or File for a UI#.  Consult your professional;)

What if I need a CSR?

 While I don’t recruit CSR’s specifically, some of these candidates would probably take a CSR position that offers some commission.
